America needs a Congress that is stronger and more engaged than ever before. It’s a better way to a safer, more secure America.

The attack on Brussels, the headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization – an organization funded by 28 counties – the United States being above and beyond the largest of all 28 – is an attack on those 28 nations. It is an attack on the United States. President Obama’s strategy to defeat ISIS is not working. It hasn’t worked. It will not work. It’s time to stop playing pretend policy with a pretend world. It’s time to start dealing with real policy in a real world. Or it will be time we accept that the occupant in the White House has simply become a pretend President in a real world.

In the world of government, it is likely few Americans are familiar with the acronym AUMF.  Yet, in our nation’s defense against the lethal strength of ISIS and other terror groups it may be the most important, and controversial, formation of four letters of the alphabet.

In 2013 the Obama Administration said it was approaching nuclear negotiations with Iran with its eyes “absolutely wide open.” Unfortunately, when it comes to holding Iran accountable for its multiple violations of UN security council resolutions and international law the Obama Administration’s eyes are wide shut.

WASHINGTON – Today the American Action Network (@AAN), a 501c4 issue advocacy organization, launched a $3 Million issue campaign of TV, radio, mail, print and digital ads in 70 congressional districts nationwide. The campaign calls on Members of Congress to continue working with new House Speaker Paul Ryan to fight for conservative solutions and protect America's seniors. The campaign includes $350,000 in TV ads in 12 districts; $700,000 in print ads in 44 districts; $750,000 in digital ads in 70 districts; and $1.2 Million in mail in 70 districts. 

America is war weary.  Yet, being weary of war is not a policy.  It is not an excuse to allow ISIS to continue to expand the battlefield around the world in its drive to destroy us. It’s time for America, Western Civilization, moderate Islam and other nations to defend themselves. Destroy ISIS. Before ISIS destroys all of us.

Russia is now in Syria because the President’s lack of coherent strategy, and lack of resolve in backing up promises of swift action if al-Assad crossed “red lines”. The threat to America and its military is greater today than ever before because of the timid actions and decisions of this President. One things is for sure, American cannot win the war against terror with 50 American soldiers in Syria.

Hiding behind a filibuster to stop a vote against President Obama’s dangerous nuclear agreement with Iran has revealed just how bad this agreement is for America. Have the debate.  Allow a vote.  Let the President have his veto. If the President and 42 Democrats are right, then Republicans will suffer the consequences of their opposition to this agreement at the ballot box. But, if the President and 42 Democrats are wrong, then America and its allies will suffer the consequences of their support for this agreement for generations to come.
