Michael Ramlet is the Director of Healthcare Policy at the American Action Forum, a Washington DC based policy institute focused on providing Congress and the nation’s governors with real-time policy analysis and market-oriented policy solutions. He launched the Forum’s first public policy initiative, Operation Healthcare Choice, which is focused on promoting medical innovation, value-based medical care, and higher quality health insurance that expands consumer choice.

Ramlet is also the founder and editor of The Morning Consult, a non-partisan daily healthcare industry and public policy briefing delivered via email each morning at 9am (ET). The Consult covers more than 250 healthcare news articles, op-eds, and medical journals.
