Despite Obamacare’s broken promises and high costs that are hurting Long Islanders, Tim Bishop is an outspoken Obamacare champion – even calling the law a “pretty damn good idea” in an interview this year.

Today American Action Network is releasing a new poll in NY-01, showing a dead heat race between Congressman Tim Bishop and Senator Lee Zeldin. Key findings from the poll include:  • Bishop and Zeldin are tied at 46%, with 7% undecided. • 62% of voters disapprove of Obama’s job performance, while just 37% approve. Meanwhile, 24% of voters say the country is headed in the right direction v. 69% who say wrong track.
