AAN Kicks Off $1 Million Online Campaign Promoting The Tax Cuts And Jobs Act

Digital ad touting tax reform legislation part of $22 million commitment

WASHINGTON – Following the release of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, American Action Network’s Middle-Class Growth Initiative (MCGI) today kicked off a $1 million online campaign, launching a digital ad promoting the merits of the recently released legislation. The animated digital ads simulate an online search for the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, and highlight key features and media coverage of the plan. The ads will run in 39 congressional districts on various digital platforms including YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. View the list of districts targeted here.

“The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act brings the opportunity for Congress to make meaningful tax reform a reality for hardworking Americans across the country,” said AAN Executive Director Corry Bliss. “This plan means a tax cut upward of $1,200 for middle-class families, a chance to save, and most importantly, a chance to get ahead. Families can’t afford to keep living paycheck-to-paycheck, and they can’t wait any longer for pro-growth tax reform. It’s time for Congress to work together and swiftly pass the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.”

The digital campaign is part of the Middle-Class Growth Initiative (MCGI), a special project of American Action Network launched in August to advocate for the passage of meaningful tax reform legislation. The multi-pronged effort includes advertising on digital, television, radio, direct mail, and mobile billboards in over 50 congressional districts nationwide. AAN has pledged to spend at least $22 million in efforts to support the passage of tax reform.
