American Action Network Launches Snapchat Filter Surrounding Obamacare Repeal and Replace Rally

Filter Advertises Support for the American Health Care Act

The American Action Network (@AAN) is launching a Snapchat geofilter surrounding today’s Obamacare repeal and replace rally on Capitol Hill where members of Congress and activists are expected to gather. The ad filter is meant to urge those attending the rally to stand with President Donald Trump and Speaker Paul Ryan as they work to pass the American Health Care Act and deliver affordable, patient-centered health care.

This effort comes amid twelve strong conservative groups, including the National Taxpayers Union and Americans for Tax Reform, announcing their endorsement of the American Health Care Act.

“We are urging conservatives to stand with President Trump and Speaker Ryan to seize this historic moment and deliver on the promise to repeal and replace Obamacare. The time to make health care affordable again is now, and the American Health Care Act gives conservatives the opportunity to do just that,” said Corry Bliss, AAN Executive Director.

Snapchat users can apply the filter to photos on Capitol Hill. This is part of AAN’s aggressive issue advocacy campaign on repealing and replacing Obamacare, now totaling $10 million in advertising in more than 75 congressional districts nationwide.
