American Action Network Releases First 2017 Digital Ads
– 28 Congressional Districts Targeted Nationwide
– Campaign Will Result in Over 8 Million Views for Advertising the House Republican Health Care Plan
WASHINGTON – The American Action Network (@AAN) today launches its first digital advertising campaign of the year, targeting 28 congressional districts on the House Republican plan to replace Obamacare. Digital video, display, and search ads will capture an estimated 8.1 million views for the advertising before the end of the month, highlighting the principles of the new health care plan. This $400,000 digital ad campaign is in addition to a $1 million TV ad campaign airing nationally and in 15 congressional districts.
“American Action Network is ensuring Americans know that there is a conservative, patient-centered plan for repealing and replacing Obamacare,” said AAN Executive Director Corry Bliss. “Our early spending is sending a loud and clear message in support of the plan to replace Obamacare with more affordable, quality health care and without disrupting existing coverage. After years of disastrous Obamacare, Americans can now have peace of mind that a better way for health care is coming.”

AAN’s digital and TV ad campaigns follow the release of a nationwide poll, showing that nearly two-thirds of respondents support repealing and replacing Obamacare with a plan featuring the broad principles of a House Republican plan. The most popular messages for a replacement plan include coverage that provides ownership and portability, centers on what is best for the patient, and lowers health coverage costs.
