AAN Announces $400,000 Radio Ad Campaign to Thank Lawmakers for Passing AHCA
Advertising in 10 congressional districts nationwide WASHINGTON – American Action Network (@AAN) today launched a $400,000 radio ad campaign in 10 congressional districts nationwide, as part of its ongoing effort to promote the American Health Care Act (AHCA). The spot highlights the dismal state of the current health care system under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and key provisions in the AHCA that will help provide better care. The ads end with a call to action, urging constituents to call and thank their representative for fighting for health care reform. “The Affordable Care Act has failed, and will only get worse. Americans deserve quality, affordable health care of their choice,” said Corry Bliss, AAN Executive Director. “Thanks to Speaker Ryan and President Trump we are on track to give American families more choices, better coverage and lower premiums. Americans should know that their member of Congress kept their promise to fight for patient-centered health care. AAN will continue to be aggressive in our effort to share that better care is on the way.” Each radio ad is unique and will air through Monday, June 5. This campaign brings AAN’s total spending over $13.1 million in advocating for patient-centered reforms and the AHCA.
