Tax hikes or tax relief: What will liberals choose?
According to AAA, gas prices are about $1.20 a gallon higher than when President Biden took office, and CNBC reports that core inflation remains high, still double what inflation was when Biden took office.
Americans continue struggling to keep up with the high cost of living.
Meanwhile, the left remains opposed to checks on their reckless spending.
And the White House is proposing a $4.7 trillion tax hike that, according to the Tax Foundation, will harm “workers, international competitiveness, and domestic investment.”
Thankfully, the House is working to combat the left’s harmful tax and spend policies.
The House Committee on Ways and Means held a markup yesterday on the American Families and Jobs Act.
This legislative package incentivizes research and development, makes it easier for small businesses to grow and succeed, and puts money back into the pockets of hardworking Americans with a guaranteed deduction bonus of $4,000 for families.
Seems like commonsense economic policy Congress can get behind…
“The left remains grossly out of touch with everyday American families, who are still struggling to make ends meet,” said AAN Communications Director Courtney Parella. “Instead of prioritizing reckless tax and spend policies, liberals in Congress should support the American Families and Jobs Act, which will provide much-needed relief to American families, incentivize research and development, and put workers and small businesses first.”
