AAN Launches $650,000 Immigration Ad Campaign in CO-08
This issue advocacy campaign will run on TV and digital platforms, with a heavy rotation during Summer Olympics programming
Today, American Action Network (AAN) launched a $650,000 ad campaign in CO-08 as part of an extensive issue advocacy campaign urging liberals in Congress to support commonsense immigration measures to secure the border. CO-08 is represented by Congresswoman Yadira Caraveo. The campaign urges Caraveo to support efforts to stop the out of control illegal immigration crisis plaguing cities like Denver. This includes backing legislation like H.R. 5717, the No Bailout for Sanctuary Cities Act.
The $650,000 ad campaign will run over the coming weeks on television and digital platforms, with a heavy rotation during the Summer Olympics programming.

“Illegal immigration went from a problem to a full-blown crisis under the Biden-Harris Administration, and liberals in Congress, like Congresswoman Yadira Caraveo, have only enabled the open-border policies that have led to this unmitigated disaster and created a costly migrant crisis in Denver,” said AAN President Dan Conston. “If Rep. Caraveo is serious about securing the border, she will stop opposing and begin supporting commonsense legislation and give Coloradans the peace of mind they deserve.”
Background: American Action Network has long been an advocate for commonsense border security legislation. AAN immigration research from February found that 62% of battleground voters support forcing the Biden Administration to reinstate the Remain in Mexico policy, as opposed to 28% who oppose. The AAN survey also shows that over 85% of Americans agree that there is a crisis at our southern border and almost 90% believe the U.S. Government needs to act on border security.
