Economic policy coming out of Washington must get results for the people’s pocketbooks. That means job opportunities, helping small businesses, promoting higher wages, and not making the tax code even more complex. History has shown that tax cuts and smart regulatory relief deliver exactly that. Our country now stands at a crossroads as liberals want to raise taxes and increase Washington red-tape, which will destroy jobs, decrease pay for the working class, and harm small businesses. Our country cannot afford this, and lawmakers must reject this bad policy.
