not “under control”

Moments ago, Speaker Nancy Pelosi declared Joe Biden’s border crisis “under control,” despite nearly all evidence to the contrary. Meanwhile, POLITICO is calling the Biden Administration “Orwellian” for failing to address this crisis, let alone call it what it is.

With 13,000 unaccompanied minors in custody, more than 100,000 illegal border crossings in the last month alone, detention centers and make-shift tent cities popping up left and right, and the situation “the worst in 20 years” – this situation is far from “under control.”

Someone should ask: Do Representatives like Cindy Axne, Filemon Vela, Ron Kind and Jared Golden agree the border is “under control” or will they admit this is a crisis of their own making?

“The Biden Border Crisis is anything from under control and it’s a shame that Congress continues pretending like it is,” said AAN Communications Director Calvin Moore. “It’s time for liberals in Congress to admit their misguided immigration policies created the worst border crisis in 20 years, and step up to fix it.”
