WASHINGTON – American Action Network (@AAN) Chairman and former U.S. Senator Norm Coleman (R-MN) issued the following statement on tonight’s election results in Pennsylvania’s 16th Congressional District. AAN and its sister super PAC, Congressional Leadership Fund, spent nearly $800,000 in independent expenditures in the PA-16 race on TV advertising, online advertising, mail and GOTV efforts.

“Congratulations to Lloyd Smucker on his election victory.  Pennsylvanians are sending to Congress a strong and pragmatic leader who will fight for families across the 16th district. We are proud to support his election and look forward to seeing Lloyd in Congress standing for solutions that will strengthen our country and create more opportunities for families.”

In 2016, American Action Network and its sister super PAC, Congressional Leadership Fund, spent a combined $48 million in independent expenditures in 32 U.S. House races.
