AAN Launches $4 Million+ Campaign In Over 40 Districts To Stop Pelosi’s Socialist Drug Takeover Plan
American Action Network unveiled a new issue advocacy campaign this morning, turning up the heat over H.R. 3 – Nancy Pelosi’s socialist prescription drug takeover plan. Starting this morning, AAN will begin airing over $4 million in TV, digital advertising and phones across 43 House Districts to stop her dangerous plan. In the first phase, television will run in 12 districts and additional districts could be added in coming days.
The new ads ask, “What’s a life worth?” and highlight how H.R. 3 would mean fewer cures for life threating diseases as well as the devastating impact the bill would have for patients’ access to breakthrough new treatments, like the COVID vaccine.
“Breakthrough American innovation is giving us the tools to end this pandemic and get our lives back to normal,” said AAN President Dan Conston. “Nevertheless, Pelosi is pushing a socialist takeover of the prescription drug industry that will reduce access to lifesaving medications, cancel new cures for the patients who need them and send American innovation overseas. Liberals in Congress should abandon this radical plan and take up bipartisan reforms like H.R. 19 that will reduce the cost of prescriptions without threatening access to the medicine patients need.”
On television, ads will run in the below districts. Similar messages will run through digital and phones in the remaining 31 districts (see full breakdown here).
