AAN Launches Advocacy Campaign To Stop Pelosi’s Liberal Stimulus
American Action Network unveiled a new issue advocacy ad campaign today on Pelosi’s liberal stimulus bill. Starting today, AAN will launch digital ads and phone calls in 11 House districts highlighting how liberals have hijacked COVID relief for trillions in new spending on long-time socialist wish list items, like a bailout for blue states and benefits for illegal immigrants, while refusing to safely reopen America’s schools.
“Dollar for dollar, this bill does far more to fund the far-left’s socialist political agenda than it does to deliver meaningful relief to the families and small businesses who need it most,” said AAN President Dan Conston. “American families, students and small businesses are falling behind like never before, yet over half the bill is being spent on unrelated progressive policy priorities. Congress should reject this shameless power grab and instead pass targeted legislation that gets aid to families, reopens schools and helps small businesses recover as quickly as possible.”
Members included as part of the latest campaign: Carolyn Bourdeaux (GA-07), Cindy Axne (IA-03), Sharice Davids (KS-03), John Yarmuth (KY-03), Jared Golden (ME-02), Elissa Slotkin (MI-08), Kurt Schrader (OR-05), Conor Lamb (PA-17), Elaine Luria (VA-02), Abigail Spanberger (VA-07) and Ron Kind (WI-03).
