American Action Network Congratulates David Rouzer in NC-07 Primary Election

WASHINGTON – American Action Network (@AAN) Chairman and former Senator Norm Coleman (MN) issued the following statement in response to tonight's primary election results in North Carolina’s 7th Congressional District where David Rouzer won the NC-7 primary. AAN spent $50,000 in independent expenditures in the NC-07 primary election in the final week.

“Congratulations to David Rouzer on his primary win that sets him on track to claim victory this November. David Rouzer is just the type of center-right candidate that will help strengthen a governing majority in the House, fighting for policies that create jobs, rein in an overreaching federal government and protect Americans from Obamacare. American Action Network is proud to have worked side-by-side with other center-right outside groups supporting Rouzer, and we look forward to welcoming him to Congress next year as a new voice for center-right solutions.”

The American Action Network is a 501(c)(4) 'action tank' that creates, encourages and promotes center-right policies based on the principles of freedom, limited government, American exceptionalism, and strong national security. The American Action Network's primary goal is to put our center-right ideas into action by engaging the hearts and minds of the American people and spurring them into action to advance our center-right policy agenda. The Network is chaired by former Senator Norm Coleman (MN) and its board includes Fred Malek, former Congressman Tom Reynolds (NY), and former Congressman Vin Weber (MN).
