American Action Network Greets Nancy Pelosi With Tax Reform Mobile Billboard At Town Hall

Billboard Calls for Tax Cuts for Working Families, Will Circle Capitol Hill and CNN Town Hall

WASHINGTON – Ahead of Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s CNN Town Hall, American Action Network’s Middle-Class Growth Initiative (MCGI) rolled out a mobile billboard to circle Capitol Hill and the town hall venue on Wednesday, October 4. The billboard calls on Pelosi to work across the aisle to deliver tax cuts for working families and job creators.

“It’s unfortunate that Nancy Pelosi and Washington Democrats have resorted to fake math in hopes of derailing tax cuts for middle-class families. Over 50 percent of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. It’s now time for Congress to give families and job creators tax relief,” said AAN Executive Director Corry Bliss. “The tax reform plan released by the White House and congressional leaders could give middle-class families a tax cut of $1,200 to help them save for the future. It’s past time for Nancy Pelosi to work on behalf of America’s middle class and stop playing politics on tax reform.”

In August, American Action Network launched the Middle-Class Growth Initiative, a special project to advocate for the passage of meaningful tax reform legislation. The multi-pronged campaign, now totaling over $8 million, has included advertising on television, radio, direct mail and mobile billboards across over 40 congressional districts nationwide.
