What They Are Saying: AAN Polling Shows Dire Concern On Inflation, Economy

In case you missed it, American Action Network released its battleground policy survey showing near universal concern over inflation in 51 districts across the country, that will “frame the way [conservatives] talk about economic issues,” according to Punchbowl News.

Here’s what folks are saying about it:

“Will Frame The Way [Conservatives] Talk About Economic Issues”

Punchbowl News: “House Republican leaders will get a poll this week from the American Action Network that takes the temperature of registered voters in 51 battleground districts. AAN is the non-profit organization that, with its sister organization Congressional Leadership Fund, is some of the brains and money behind the House GOP. CLF is the super PAC. We got our hands on the poll presentation that Republicans will get this week. This will frame the way they talk about economic issues.”

“It’s not just partisan. Americans across the board are worried.”

Fox News Channel: “The fact is the American public doesn’t agree with him. The American Action Network put out new polling today that shows 89% of Americans are worried about the cost of living. This is going to have a big impact… There are a lot of financial places where it’s not just partisan. Americans across the board are worried.”

“Joe Biden finds himself on the defensive over the economy”

Washington Examiner: “President Joe Biden finds himself on the defensive over the economy, even as he presides over an emergence from the pandemic opening the spigots of job creation and growth.Yet, when Biden spoke about the economy on Monday, he found himself fending off concerns about inflation and a plummeting stock market that served as a poor backdrop for what were supposed to be celebratory remarks…. a Tarrance poll conducted for the conservative American Action Network that showed lopsided majorities were worried about inflation and smaller majorities blamed Biden’s policies.”

“Nearly nine in ten voters say they are concerned about the rising cost of living in the U.S.”

The Hill: Nearly nine in ten voters say they are concerned about the rising cost of living in the U.S., according to a new survey from the conservative advocacy group the American Action Network …Other polls have shown that economic issues, including inflation, are chief concerns among voters.”

Newsmax: “Most Americans are concerned about the rising cost of living, according to a new American Action Network poll. A whopping 88% of respondents told AAN they were either “somewhat” or “extremely/very” worried about the rising cost of living. The AAN poll joins others in showing that many Americans are concerned about economic issues, including inflation.”

Breitbart: “Voters in battleground districts are overwhelmingly concerned about inflation and the rising cost of living, according to a recent poll commissioned by the American Action Network to show to the House Republican leadership this week.”

“comes as Democrats push a $3.5 trillion budget plan”

One America News: “A majority of Americans are concerned about the rising cost of living under the Biden Administration. A new poll by conservative advocacy group American Action Network shows 88% of voters are somewhat or extremely worried about the cost of living…. This comes as inflation has been increasing under the Biden Administration and as Democrats push a $3.5 trillion budget plan.”
