AAN Congratulates Jack Bergman in Michigan’s 1st District Election

WASHINGTON – American Action Network (@AAN) Chairman and former U.S. Senator Norm Coleman (R-MN) issued the following statement on tonight’s election results in Michigan’s 1st Congressional District race. AAN spent nearly $650,000 in independent expenditures in the MI-01 race on TV advertising, online advertising, and GOTV efforts.

“Congratulations to Jack Bergman on his election victory. With Jack, Michigan is sending a Marine Corps veteran and successful small business owner to fight on their behalf. That’s the kind of leader Washington needs – someone like Jack who has devoted his life to keeping Americans safe and prosperous. In Congress, Jack will fight for policies that will strengthen national security and encourage economic growth to get our country back on track. We look forward to seeing Jack Bergman’s leadership in Congress on behalf of Michigan families.”

In 2016, American Action Network and its sister super PAC, Congressional Leadership Fund, spent a combined $48 million in independent expenditures in 32 U.S. House races.
