AAN Launches Major Initiative to Support Critical National Security Funding

WASHINGTON – Today, the 501c4 American Action Network launched an advocacy campaign urging Members of Congress to support funding the Department of Homeland Security. AAN will spend over $400,000 between Tuesday and Wednesday on the advocacy campaign, including broadcast television ads in three congressional districts totaling in the six-figures, a six-figure national radio ad campaign which will run on the Rush Limbaugh Show and the Sean Hannity show, a six-figure digital campaign running in nine districts, and live operator calls to conservatives in 50 congressional districts nationwide.

“It’s important that Congress funds national security programs that keep America safe,” said American Action Network’s President Mike Shields. “Conservatives nationwide support keeping Homeland Security open and funding programs like enhanced cyber-security and fully enforcing the U.S. – Mexico border. It’s important voters hear the facts about Homeland Security and call Congress to support crucial national security funding.”

The three different television ads call on Congressmen Tim Huelskamp (KS-01), Jim Bridenstine (OK-1), and Jim Jordan (OH-04) to support DHS funding. They will run on broadcast television respectively in Wichita (KS), Tulsa (OK), Lima (OH) and Cleveland (OH). You can view them by clicking here, here, and here.
