AAN’s Middle-Class Growth Initiative Supports Speaker Paul Ryan on Tax Reform

Airing TV ads and unveiling mobile billboard during Racine town hall

WASHINGTON – Ahead of Speaker Paul Ryan’s town hall in Racine, Wisconsin, American Action Network’s Middle-Class Growth Initiative (MCGI) announced it will air TV ads on CNN and unveil a mobile billboard to highlight the need for meaningful tax reform that will lower rates for working families and small businesses. In addition to today’s efforts, MCGI previously announced it would run radio and digital ads in Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District on tax reform.

“Speaker Ryan has spent his career working toward tax reform, and now, Congress is on the verge of making tax reform a reality for middle-class families across the county,” said Corry Bliss, AAN Executive Director. “American families deserve a fairer, simpler, flatter tax code, and the Speaker’s agenda on tax reform will do just that. We look forward to hearing Speaker Ryan make this case to the American people, and AAN will continue to do its part so Congress prioritizes reforms that will create more jobs, raise wages, and bring back the middle class.”

AAN launched the Middle-Class Growth Initiative in early August to build momentum for tax reform by garnering public support and promoting the benefits of real tax reform for middle-class Americans and job creators. With a pledge to spend $5 million in August alone, MCGI’s multi-pronged approach includes TV, radio, and digital ad campaigns.

The billboard will circle the site of the town hall before and during the event.
